Maria Elena Bello is an American actress. Permanent Midnight (1998), Payback (99), Coyote Ugly 2000, The Cooler 2003, A History of Violence 2005, The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor 2008, Grown Ups (2011), Prisoners (2013) and Lights Out (2016) were just a few of her film roles. Bello was on TV as Dr. Anna Del Amico (1997-1998) as well as other starring parts such as Michelle McBride (2016 season) as well as Jacqueline Sloane (2017-2021) on NCIS. Bello was born on April 18 1967 in Norristown, Pennsylvania,[2] to Kathy Bello, a nurse at school and teacher as well as Joe Bello, a contractor.Her father is Italian American, with roots in Montella, Italy, and her mother is Polish American.She grew up in a poor, Catholic family and graduated from Archbishop John Carroll High School in Radnor, Pennsylvania. In the field of political science, Bello majored at Villanova University. Following graduation, Bello honed her acting abilities in several New York theater productions. Bello is mother to Jackson and Dan McDermott, her ex-boyfriend. Bello wrote about her relationship with Clare Munn in November 2013. She released a book titled Whatever...Love Is Loving: Examining the Labels We Give to Ourselves (Dey Street Books - April 28 in 2015).
